The Walkmen

The Walkmen, formed in 2000, came together from the ashes of two other bands, The Recoys and Jonathan Fire*Eater, and made a conscious attempt to evolve away from the raw, fiery garage sounds of their previous bands by incorporating piano and experimenting with instrumentation and recording techniques. Now, more than 10 years after their debut album, 'Everybody Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone,' they're on tour to support their newest work, 'Heaven,' which was released in 2012.
